Stud Bolt
Stud bolts are externally threaded fasteners manufactured without a head, designed for assembly with two heavy hex nuts to achieve uniform load distribution and high clamping force. They are primarily used in bolted flange joints and critical pressure-retaining applications where joint integrity, preload accuracy, and ease of maintenance are essential.
Stud bolts provide superior performance under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions, ensuring reliable sealing and minimizing the risk of leakage in demanding service environments.
Configuration Types
- Continuous Thread (All-Thread Studs): Fully threaded along the entire length for maximum engagement
- Double-End Studs: Threads on both ends with a defined unthreaded shank (if required)
- Tap-End Studs: One end shorter for threaded hole applications
